Gurukulam Talent Search Examination (GTSE-2026) is a State-Level Scholarship Examination conducted by Gurukulam Vidya Mandir (GVM) for identifying, encouraging and rewarding academically talented students studying in Classes VI to X across Assam.

The examination is designed to evaluate students through a transparent, fair and merit-based assessment system. Qualified candidates shall be eligible for scholarships, academic recognition and special merit awards based on their performance.

Official Notice : Candidates are advised to read the advertisement carefully before submitting the application form. Submission of an application shall be treated as acceptance of all rules and regulations of Gurukulam Vidya Mandir (GVM).

EXAMINATION DETAILS

IMPORTANT The examination will be conducted in Offline Mode on 27 September 2026 (Sunday). Candidates must report at the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

GTSE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

Scholarship Benefits for Meritorious Students

SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
Scholarships shall be awarded strictly on the basis of merit secured in the Gurukulam Talent Search Examination (GTSE-2026). The decision of Gurukulam Vidya Mandir (GVM) regarding scholarship selection shall be final and binding.

Merit Based

Scholarships shall be awarded only to eligible candidates securing top merit positions in GTSE-2026.

Monthly Support

Selected students will receive financial assistance every month for one academic year.

Recognition

Successful candidates may receive Certificates of Merit and institutional recognition.

Important Information

  • Scholarship shall be awarded only after verification of eligibility.
  • Scholarship is non-transferable.
  • The decision of GVM shall be final regarding scholarship selection.
  • Incomplete or false information may lead to cancellation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Conditions for Appearing in GTSE-2026

IMPORTANT Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions before submitting the application form. Applications of ineligible candidates are liable to be rejected at any stage of the selection process.

Eligible Classes

Students presently studying in Classes VI to X during the Academic Session 2026–27 are eligible to apply.

Recognized School

The applicant must be enrolled in any Government, Provincialised, Private or Recognized School.

Area of Eligibility

Students from all districts of Assam are eligible to participate in GTSE-2026.

Single Application

Only one application shall be accepted from a candidate. Multiple applications may lead to cancellation.

General Conditions

  • Eligibility shall be verified during admission/document verification, if required.
  • Providing false information may result in cancellation of candidature.
  • The decision of Gurukulam Vidya Mandir (GVM) regarding eligibility shall be final.
